Anse Toiny Located on the South East coast of this beautiful island. Toiny beach is often deserted due to very strong currents. This beach does attract surfers who fit themselves against the large waves generally present.
Grande Cul de Sac This beautiful beach is picturesque with it's lagoon and bordered by palm trees. The beach borders a shallow, well protected bay and the water is generally very calm. This is an ideal place for children and water sports fans. There are several restaurants and hotels on this beach as well as a windsurfing rental vendor.
Anse de Lorient An ideal spot for discovering marine life. Turtles and multicolored fish love to swim and wallow along the coral reef that protects the bay. The beach is popular with local families and is also a favorite place for surfing competitions, regularly held here.
Eden Rock Perched on a rock in the bay of St. Jean, Eden Rock enjoys extraordinary panoramic views from its restaurants. Two beautiful white sand beaches lead out from either side of the rock.
Baie de St. Jean Located on the north side of the island, Baie de St. Jean actually has two beaches, separated by Eden Rock. This is a wonderful place for your daily beach walk on this long stretch of white sand and beautiful blue water. One can also discover many restaurants on the waters edge as well as the small marine sports center.
Flamands A long stretch of white sand beach that is perfect for for basking in the sun for hours. The waves can be tall and the surf heavy but the swimming is rarely hazardous. Hotel St. Barth Ile de France and la Langouste are a great place for lunch while at the beach.
Anse de Colombier Anse de Colombier is only accessible by sea or a 20 minute walk along a winding pathway from Flamand. The beach is usually empty but the harbor may have several yachts at anchor. This is also a popular spot for the local folks on a Sunday picnic. This small bay is an integral part of the Marine Reserve and the sea floor is particularly rich and colorful. This is a favorite meeting place for tortoises, rays, lobster and dolphins.
Shell Beach As the name suggests, this beach has many shells along with soft white sand. Located on the west side of the island very near to the Capital, Gustavia.
Anse du Gouverneur One of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Legend has it that the famous pirate Montbar hid his treasure somewhere in the caves, close by.
Grande Saline The keyword here is nature. This is a favorite spot for naturists. You can reach this wonderful beach of white sand and azure waters by a short winding path. If you only go to St. Barts one time, make sure you go to Grande Saline.
